Balance

The echoes of laughter in the workplace may show that happiness is in the air for some people. But an excessive amount of it may result in irritation and annoyance.  My mother used to tell me (in her mother tongue), too much happiness is no good. If there’s too much of anything, men will be thrown off balance. So everything will have to be moderate.

Not too much sugar.

Not too much salt.

Not too much frosting.

Not too much curry.

Not too much glue.

Not too much talk.

Not too happy. Not too sad. Not too stressed out. Not too relaxed.

Being moderate sometimes means being contented.

And what my other half always say “You can’t have too much of a good thing”
